Portable Appliance Testing Service


Cost Control Services provides a Portable Appliance Testing service for appliances running from 230V or 110V supplies.

 

We carry out formal inspection and testing in accordance with the IEE Code of Practice for In-service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment which includes the following:

 
 Formal inspection of cable, plug, plug wiring and fuse
 Electrical testing using specialist test equipment 
Passing items are PASS labelled showing date and asset number
 Failing items are FAIL labelled and reported during the visit
 Test results are downloaded to provide a report
Test results retained so that details can be verified
